Based in Southern Spain, Sing Eat Retreat will host The LCC Choir Camp for a week of creativity, community, and bundles of fun. Join us in Tarifa, Europe’s most southerly point, for ensemble singing, expert vocal tuition, and scenic walks — all leading to a final public concert performance.
Based at the beautiful and spacious villa, Huerta Belinda, with panoramic views stretching across to Africa, this Sing Eat Retreat experience will be directed by Leigh and the SER team to ensure you have the week of a lifetime. This is your chance as a new Choir to fully bond!
Ensemble Singing & Personal Coaching
Each afternoon, you’ll take part in rehearsals led by Leigh, who will guide you through an exciting and varied repertoire of contemporary music — from pop and gospel to choral and traditional pieces (SATB).
You’ll also have the opportunity for 1-on-1 vocal coaching with our two exceptional vocal tutors, who will help you build technique, overcome vocal challenges, and grow in confidence.
Morning Activities – Walks or Coaching
Start your day with the option of 2 morning walks in the week through some of Andalusia’s most breathtaking landscapes — including cloud forests, pristine beaches, and rolling dunes. These walks are led by Johanna from Sur Walks, a local guide with deep knowledge of the area’s flora, fauna, and geology.
Prefer to focus on music or take it easy? You can choose to stay at the villa for extra coaching, quiet practice, or just enjoy a slow morning and soak up the winter sunshine.
Explore the Area
You’ll be just 10 minutes from the historic port town of Tarifa and only 30 minutes from Gibraltar. Whether you’re interested in culture, adventure sports like kite surfing, or wildlife (whale-watching trips are available!), there’s plenty to do — or not do — during your free time. This week is about balance, and the pace is entirely up to you.
Great Food, Great Company
All meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — are freshly prepared by our talented cooks and enjoyed together on the villa’s terraces. Mealtimes are a chance to connect, share stories, and unwind with fellow participants and your musical mentors.
A Final Performance to Remember
The week culminates in a public performance where you’ll get to share everything you’ve worked on — a joyful celebration of music, teamwork, and personal growth.
Other Activities
In the mornings you can choose to just relax or take advantage of additional vocal coaching from our tutors. Alternatively, you can arrange your own trips. Just 10 minutes away by car is the ancient port town of Tarifa and we are only 30 minutes away from the Rock of Gibraltar! For the more adventurous Tarifa is famed for its water sports and there are plenty of kite surfing schools to get you started. Whale watching trips are also readily available. This is a relaxed week – do as much or as little extra activity as you want. We just ask that you participate fully in the singing and end of week show.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided by our amazing guest chefs. As always, Sing Eat Retreat holidays place great food front centre stage. Eating is a time to bond with new friends and learn about the professional adventures of our tutors and directors from the world of theatre and music.

The Accommodation
THE VILLA
Huerta Belinda, where the Singing Holiday takes place, is a majestic large mansion in the small and natural urbanisation of El Cuarton. It is 8km from bohemian Tarifa and its wonderful beaches. The mansion has a beautiful pool and gardens, lovely patios for relaxing and magnificent views. There are eight bedrooms at the villa sleeping a total of 17 people.
HOTEL MESÓN DE SANCHO
Offsite and just a 2-minute drive away is Mesón de Sancho, a quaint, traditional Spanish hotel. The bedrooms offer heating, television, telephone, full bathroom, free Wi-Fi and the hotel itself is set in beautiful gardens for your relaxation, plus outdoor pool and gym.
Those opting to stay at the hotel will benefit from more budget friendly sole occupancy rates, whilst benefiting from all the facilities, meals and drinks at the villa. Free transfers are provided between the hotel and villa.
Tarifa, Spain is the most southerly town in mainland Europe and is only 14km from Africa. The views from Huerta Belinda look across to Africa over the Strait of Gibraltar. Tarifa is a world-class kitesurfing destination and the Strait of Gibraltar is full of dolphins and whales who crisscross from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic.
The nearest airports are Gibraltar (30 minutes) and Málaga (1 hour 30 minutes).

Room Lottery
The seven bedroom villa is the on-site accommodation option, but rooms are shared (two people per twin room).
The hotel is a lovely quirky, family-run property set in gardens and—best of all—offers single rooms.
If you want to stay at the villa and have someone you’d like to share with, please let us know when we send out the
registration documents. If you prefer to stay at the hotel, you will be asked to indicate that choice.
If the villa is oversubscribed, we will run a lottery one night at choir practice.

Travel
FLY TO MALAGA – Flights are available from most UK and European cities to Málaga – one hour and 45 mins drive from the retreat.
FLY TO GIBRALTAR – There are direct flights to Gibraltar from London and Manchester. Gibraltar airport is a 40 minute drive, once across the border.
TRANSFERS
We usually arrange one transfer from each airport. The cost is variable dependent on how many people have requested a transfer. We use official transfer companies and simply pass on the costs.
Malaga – book your flight to arrive and allow you through passport control and luggage collection no later than 1:30pm for a transfer departure time of 2pm. Budget around £35 each way
Gibraltar – the transfer will usually leave the Spanish border side around 3pm, but this is flexible dependent on when everyone is arriving. Budget around £25 each way.
PLEASE NOTE: Final costs and times are dependent on requests received and flight arrival times.
RETURN Transfers will depart on check out day at 8.30am – Travel time to Malaga Airport is one hour and 45 mins and to Gibraltar Airport is 40 mins (subject to traffic).
If your flight schedules do not align with the designated pick-up / drop-off times, then why not stay a night in stunning Malaga or on the beach in Torremolinos – both are a stone’s throw from the airport.

How it Works
Days are split between group singing and rehearsals, 1 to 1 sessions, and smaller group sessions in hourly classes starting from 9am through to early evening. There will be plenty of breaks and chances for time out.
For the smaller groups sessions and 1 to 1 coaching you will be allocated to a coach that is best suited to your vocal abilities, but everyone will get a chance to work with all coaches throughout the week.
Rehearsals are the most exciting part of the day when everyone comes together to learn the repertoire for the end of week show.
Food
We know amazing food and new taste experiences are key to a great holiday so we carefully choose chefs who can deliver fresh, healthy, balanced menus showcasing the wealth of fabulous produce of Spain via a variety of local traditional dishes and international cuisine.
This holiday includes all meals and snacks, wine, beer or softs with dinner, except on one night when the group will eat out at their own expense.
